Our interlocked double block and bleed valve system was designed to safely remove all stored energy from a hydraulic circuit with an interlocked valve system using a Fortress trapped key system. This ensures the operational process is followed and your staff and equipment are safe.
We designed an outside diameter pipe washing system to wash off contaminates from the outside of the pipe while entering the building for processing. The system uses high pressure nozzles on an adjustable frame to optimize the spray pattern for varying pipe diameters. It is also a closed loop system that recycles and filters the water so it can be used in the process again.
We developed an interlocking system using the Fortress trapped key system for a client who needed to interlock an electrical disconnect with a gate. A personal key was added to ensure the safety of the person entering the area or for group access it can be locked into a lockbox.
Using our reality capture capabilities, we were able to accurately capture the as built 3D model of the equipment in this area. Then using the 3D scan we were able to design a platform that accurately matched the existing equipment removing the guess work. The increased accuracy allowed us to supply a set of fabrication drawings to decrease your fabrication and installation costs.
Our client needed a safer process that would reduce the time and manpower to fabricate the wall panels for their trailers. Upon meeting with our client and brainstorming ideas, we came up with a rotational wall jig design for welding and lifting the wall panels onto their trailers.
Our client needed a specialized air manifold to split a blower air source into seven evenly distributed air streams. Taking the client’s original design, we were able to modify the design to evenly distribute the air and 3D print the manifold for use in their process.
Our client wanted to streamline their coil handling in their manufacturing process. We developed a coil handling system that was able to reduce colour change over time and coil damage. The system can also be loaded offline, so it does not interrupt production while loading new coils.
Our client wanted a process control that didn’t require changing out the current valves or running electrical controls to a remote location. After consulting with the client, we proposed using the Fortress trapped key system. This would lock all the valves closed until an operator with a single key could open a single required valve, trapping the key in the lock until the valve was closed again, eliminating any chance of cross contamination caused by multiple valves being opened.
Our client wanted increased throughput in the area and quality of the stencil. In consultation with the client, we came up with a solution that exceeded the client’s requirements, with the added benefit of increased safety by removing a person from the material processing area.
Our client required the guarding on their existing motor and pump units to meet the current safety standards. We provided customized machine guarding design for their equipment that meets the B11 safety standards.
Our mechanically interlocked pneumatic bleed valve system was designed to safely remove all stored energy from a pneumatic circuit with an interlocked valve system using a Fortress trapped key system. This can be used as a stepped process with PLC controlled devices as well to ensures the operational process is followed and your staff and equipment are safe.
